Browning control (large dial) seems cheap (hollow plastic knob); browns bread unevenly; setting must be @ 3/4 of the way UP before any browning of bread occurs on the first cycle; I truly hope this toaster lasts longer than I think it will.

This is the 2nd toaster I have ever owned. I am sure my old one is from the 80's. This one is much nicer looking. It takes up a little more space on the counter but works great. I like the frozen option to heat up waffles and seem to get them just right. The verdict is still out on the "feet". I kind of liked the way my old one just slides out from the wall, where this one has non-slip feet on it, you have to pick it up to move it. I do like the knob dial setting. I bought this becasue I got a offer from my Capital One credit card, get 50 statement credit when you spend 50...

The setting for the degree of toasting is not accurate. The lowest setting is not toasted enough and the mid range is over done. They need to be more precise. We don't use white bread mass produced loaves, we use bakery bread which tends to be wider and we have to cut part of the slice off in order for it to fit in the toaster.

ease to use, built sturdy and preforms very satisfactory

Only issue to consider is how easily it shows fingerprints.

Toaster so far works well . I have only used it for a week so far though .

Lasted four months and quit working

Love this toaster

Works great! Heats up fast. Offers a toasting option for bagels as well as a from frozen toasting option.

I love my new stainless steel GE toaster! It is just large enough for my husband and I - a two-piece toaster. Light- weight and easy to clean. Just what we needed! Toasts to the perfect darkness. Easy to use !
