As I tryed it out the toaster had S a terrible smell, like plastic. I thew out the bread, I turned it on again an hopes just being new it would go away. I'm not sure why? Plus the outside gets extremely hot!

Replaced a toaster that was adequate but among other thing didn’t have a crumb tray and tended to cause a mess on the countertop. Better heat control and bagel setting.

Replaced the same roaster bought 12 years ago. This one is half the weight concerned about longevity. Takes a little longer to toast. Not a game changer. Probably uses less electricity.
