So far so good. I just got the toaster today. It's very nice to look at and it's the perfect size for me. It's the 2 slice. I've toasted a bagel and it turned out perfectly. The slots are oversized so there was no problem fitting it in. Because of some reviews I had read I toasted an old piece of bread first but there was no smoke to be seen although there was a slight smell. After the one piece of bread we done the smell is gone. At this point I'm very glad I decided on this toaster and being that it's made here in the United States is a big plus for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new toaster. It is stainless steel and it looks good on my countertop. It works great. It has multiple settings to choose from on how dark or light you prefer. It is so sleek. My family loves it too, it’s easy to use.

The middle burner on one of the slot is out. Doesn't work! Weird because that's why I purchased a new toaster. The middle burner didn't toast any longer. I'll work around it but to be honest this toaster isn't what I had hoped for. Light weight and seems a little junky to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the toaster looks great! It has a steel casing that will look great in any kitchen. It does seem to attract smudges so you may want to wipe it off after every use. It has a streamlined and modern look with very intuitive controls. It's easy to operate and does what it's supposed to do quite well. The only caveat is to make sure you run a cycle or two with nothing in it so you don't have that "new,metallic" taste imbued into your toast/bagels/etc. Another solid product from a company that has been making them for years.

The toaster is OK. The toasting is a bit uneven for my taste. I purchased, hoping I would have better cord management. cord tends to come off the plastic hooks underneath. Wish I could find a toaster with an actual retractable cord - that would be great.

It also fits bagels nicely and hard rolls. I love the 7 settings. From light to dark and even if you want it dark, it’s not burnt! Very easy to clean and the whole family is able to use it because of its simple yet effective design. I am very happy with my toaster & use it daily!

I have always trusted GE products, their quality and workmanship. GE has been around since the 1890's and founded by Thomas Edison and JP Morgan. Their legacy and innovation still holds true to manufacturing quality products that last! I love this new toaster and can honestly say I am not surprised at how well it's designed and made. I have tried all the different shade settings and although I prefer 5 1/2 for toast, all the settings are consistent to the degree in which they are set. I would strongly recommend this product for quality at a reasonable price point. As far as styling, this product would do any decor justice.

I have been very pleased with my purchase of this particular GE toaster. My old toaster failed after 15 years and I expect this model to be just as dependable. No special or hard to understand instructions. Pay attention to the safety precautions as you would any electrical appliance and it is simply plug and use. Thank you GE!

First, I prefer to review products after I believe I’ve given them plenty of time and use. That said, here it is after about 2 weeks and very minimal use. The toaster is so much lighter in weight than my last one that it makes me wonder how good the internal parts are and how long they’ll last. The external of the stainless steel looks nice but fingerprints are horrible. Why can’t manufacturers make a stainless steel finish that doesn’t hold fingerprints? (Like they say, we can send a man to the moon…) The settings are ok, the toast settings are a bit tiny to see. One thing my last toaster had was a power light. We really liked that feature as it reminded us to unplug it when not in use. My last toaster lasted 16 years. I’ll be curious to see how long this one lasts.
