This is an adequate toaster but not the quality that I expected, given price and rating, nor on par with of our previous Cuisinart model. The calibration seems off as one must turn the darkness dial nearly to darkest setting to get bread well toasted. Also one side toasts more evenly than the other. Once you accommodate these peculiarities, it does fine.

wesome toaster! My rental unit is equipped with GE appliances --- superior quality --- which inclined me to purchase this toaster. It's size saves tremendous space on the countertop and is aesthetically pleasing with the stainless steel finish. I normally use the toast setting at 3/4 and comes out great! A must have for breakfast preparation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this toaster a lot. Looks nice, simple easy to read buttons, wide opening for bagels. The adjustment is pretty close to accurate as fas as light or dark toast. Always been a fan of GE products and this just strengthens my opinion.

Opened the box and knew that I had made the right choice. Immediately the quality was obvious packaging was top knock took it out very well made. Construction and materials were way above the others I had looked at , actually bought one of the competitors and returned it the cord was way too short. G E product came with a nice long cord length. Athens finish was by far of a superior quality. Turned it on three times to let the manufacturing oils burn of it works perfectly and I was amazed at the quality for not much more than the other competitors. Always had good luck with G E products in the past so when I was able to find one at such an fair price. I expected superior quality and design and I was not disappointed rarely are very satisfied with inexpensive products but this one works great.

First, the heat up to cure the filaments was so full of smoke it stunk up the kitchen so I took it outside to do it again. It made us start coughing. Second, the first toast we did one side was not browned and the other side was way over done. I’ll update this if tomorrow it gets better. If not I’ll call to return it. That’s why I bought a new one after 14 years..uneven toasting.

This is a very easy toaster to use. Put bread in the slot and set the browning type on the knob and presto your toast is ready fast. . Very simple to use. and pleasant to look at on my kitchen counter. I recommend this good buy. Simple controls and excellent performance.

I needed a new toaster and when I saw this product, I just knew I had to purchase it. I grew up using GE appliances so it was a no brainer! It toasts evenly and quickly. I have yet to use this wonderful appliance with anything else but I'm sure it will do the job as well. Thank you GE for this wonderful toaster!! Highly recommended!!!

First week or two the toast was perfect for me at the mid-range setting. Then the toast seemed to lighten a bit and didn't seem to be as evenly toasted, especially around the edges. Tried adjusting up to the next setting but it was too dark, so went back to the previous setting. That seemed to correct the toasting better to my liking but still don't have even toasting around the edges. But then again, I tried several other toasters (some almost twice the price) and none did as well so, overall, a pretty good toaster at a good price.

Been needing to get a new toaster for some time but since Covid have run into issues with major appliances, specifically freezers and I was seeing ALOT of bad reviews about small appliances so was leary of getting a bad one. Was buying a deep fryer and decided to go ahead and get the needed toaster as well. This GE toaster had the best reviews over all brands so took a chance. We have only used it for a couple of days, but so far it is doing great. I just hope it holds up as long as the last Toastmaster did, 10+ yrs!

We have used the toaster for about 2weeks and my husband and I love. It is a little pricey compared to what we have spent in the past but it toasts evenly and looks great in my kitchen. A huge improvement over past toasters. You get what you pay for.
