No improvements from Max 1's. I guess I'll wait another 5-10 years for the Max 3's.

Great sound and works seamlessly with all Apple products.

I previously owned a pair of Beats headphones, but they frequently caught in my hair when I removed them, and I am convinced this caused a bald patch near my ears. My experience changed completely when my husband gifted me the AirPods Max, and I have not considered another brand since. The noise-cancelling feature is exceptional, effectively blocking out the sound of children complaining after school and my spouse’s animated conversations while gaming. Hair snags are no longer an issue. Additionally, the automatic Bluetooth connection is a remarkable convenience. These headphones have proven more durable than any others I have owned and stand out as the best currently available, though I do wish there were a wider selection of colors.
