We warmed the rice in the microwave and it was surprisingly a great texture and microwaved really well. The combination of everything together - rice, sauce, chicken - was all delicious. The flavor is tasty and not too overpowering. And the limes included make the meal even better. My only knock on the product is that the serving size says it feeds 5 people, and we fed only 2 adults and 1 child with the entire dish. If you're wanting to feed 5 adults, you would definitely need to double it.
