This is a great toaster. I just bought all new GE appliances recently and this toaster completes the look! It works great for toast and bagels and I love the push button cancel button if you need to pop it up faster! You can’t go wrong with GE as it’s a trusted brand that’s been around for years!

Great toaster. Provides a very even toast on both sides of the bread. We like the way it fits on the counter - most toaster rest parallel and against the wall, we have it sitting perpendicular to the wall. The power cord coming from the side is not a bother. Cleans up nicely.

Weak "pop up" spring does not raise toast/bagel up enough to be safely removed without tongs. Cooks toast/bagels to perfection. The browning control knob is a superb feature. Allows precise control of toast/bagel browning. The frozen and bagel buttons are another excellent feature. You will love the toasting performance of this toaster. Just wish it had a stronger "pop up" spring.

So far the toaster works as expected. I've had it for about a month and like it so far. It's light weight, easy to use, good features including defroster and bagel setting. The bread crumb tray is easy to use too. Only negative is that I wish it was made in USA. Help employee all these people that are out of work.

A very consistent toast which was why I chose to spend the money on this vs a cheaper cuisinart or kitchenaid. My only complaint is that I find this toasts very light at all levels, I have to toast my bread twice on lower settings to get what I would consider a medium toast level. Overall it’s quick, simple and consistent. A great little toaster!!

Attractive model that has a deep tray for bagels and large toast. The dials are useful. The big problem is that when you toast a bread or anything, it is inconsistent. One side of the bread may be done as you like it but the other side is burnt. That's a quality control issue in manufacturing. Nice product but if it were easy to return it, I would. Buyer beware! I should have followed the Consumer Reports ratings!

we use the home toaster to simply toast bread. Works as we expected and we have perfect toast each time. the newness of the heating elements have worn off, and now we just smell the toast. No issues with the toaster. Lights up, knob is easy for arthritic hands, buttons for mode changes are also easy to push.

I like this toaster a lot. About 7 months ago I bought a cheaper brand and it lasted all of 2 months before the elements were bent and bread was getting stuck. This GE toaster is great. It toasts bread, bagels, English muffins all perfectly. It’s sturdy and the cord is a good length. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the toaster looks great! It has a steel casing that will look great in any kitchen. It does seem to attract smudges so you may want to wipe it off after every use. It has a streamlined and modern look with very intuitive controls. It's easy to operate and does what it's supposed to do quite well. The only caveat is to make sure you run a cycle or two with nothing in it so you don't have that "new,metallic" taste imbued into your toast/bagels/etc. Another solid product from a company that has been making them for years.

This toaster is fantastic. The features work true to their description, it will toast from frozen or thawed perfectly every time. No chemical smell upon first use. Slim design and stainless steel accents perfectly compliment our other GE kitchen appliances. You will not be disappointed with your purchase!
