I have only used the toaster twice so perhaps it needs a break-in period but it doesn't toast evenly on both sides of the toast on either side of the toaster. The end closest to the controls is hotter and if you're not careful that end of your toes will be burnt

The toasting areas have plenty of room in case you want to toast something like a bagel or a larger slice of bread. It is all stainless steel so it looks great in her kitchen!

I've used my new GE toaster several times now, on various settings. My toast has been browned evenly on both sides of the bread, whether I'm toasting one slice or two. I have also toasted frozen waffles which have turned out to my liking. I'm looking forward to trying it out on bagels this weekend.

We really like the toaster especially how evenly it toasts along with the bagel and frozen options. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it smelled like plastic the first few times we used it. That smell had completely gone away after the 4th use.

We have always enjoyed GE products. From first use it smelled like burning electrical wire. We kept trying. The toaster only ever toasted 1 side of each slice of bread in either slot. We feared to use it. We were very disappointed and we returned it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little toaster. Fits nicely on the counter, with the controls on the short side for maximum space saving. Works well, easy to use. Best feature is the frozen button, throw frozen waffles in, push the frozen button and no need to switch the temperature. I just leave the temp on 4 and everything comes out perfect.

Super light Design, capacity is great enough for French toast, also the buttons along the side control a cancel selection, frozen; which I freeze my bread and pull it out of freezer to slip right into toaster without having to thaw out and the bagel selection helps evenly toast all around bagel now that bagels are becoming more popular breakfast item through fast food shops. Performance is unmatchable compared to toasters I had in the past, every piece of bread comes out evenly crispy.

My older GE toaster finally decided to retire, so since I have always liked the GE products I bought the newer version. Love the look of this toaster and it works great; especially like the light up buttons for bagels, frozen and cancel. This helps to avoid error when toasting. The removeable crumb tray is a plus! Cosmetically, its a nice looking addition to the counter. Very happy with this appliance.

Based on the price point, this is a great little toaster. It is also sleek and clean looking. I give it 4.5 stars because one side of the toast gets a bit darker than the other side, but all things considered, it's a solid toaster and I would recommend it.
