Marketed as a costume. Halloween items had started hitting the shelves in July, but this item was totally independent of decor and costumes. Child is enjoying everything dinosaur right now and has been having fun with the "hat".

I bought this dinosaur costume to use for my Boxer's Halloween costume, and it is absolutely adorable! The purple color is bright vibrant, the details are fantastic, and it looks even better in person. I was genuinely impressed by the quality - the material is soft and plush, the dinosaur head has great structure, and the long spine and tail make the costume especially fun - and comfortable, too! For only $19.98, this is a great value because similar pet costumes can cost considerably more and often aren't nearly as substantial or well made! Although it is technically designed for a child, it works perfectly for a large dog as well! Used for imaginative play, a child's costume, party décor, or as a hilarious and adorable dog costume, it is absolutely worth purchasing, recommend!

Great grandsons costume for Halloween

I purchased the green triceratops for as a birthday present for a 4 year old. I have yet to gift it but overall the dino costume seems to be great quality for the price. These sell for more on other leading websites. I like that the head and spine are detachable to the head piece can be worn alone or as part of a separate costume perhaps. I ended up purchasing the purple triceratops for my 9 year old daughter. She loves it!

While these are cute and my nearly 4 year old son loves his Triceratops, I do some notes. 1- it CONSTANTLY slips off his head and moves down around his throat, making the weight of the costume press on the front of his throat. 2- while very cute and well made, the snaps they use to attach the spine to the headpiece detach quickly in play. It actually reminds me of a lizard that loses its tail when startled because it goes flying off when my son turns sharply while running around. When removing the cardboard tag thing, keep the ziptie attached between the head and spine pieces (we had to put one back on there). Overall, it is very cute and well-made, but some design flaws. even with my son having a 99 percentile head size, the way the costume drops to his neck instead of staying on his head, we will probably return it.

i chose to get these shipped for a certain surprise occasion. and shippingcomes in boxes. i came home at night and saw tgem just laid out on my porch like someone delivered them from the store. super cute, looks like great quality, but a warning if you're wanting to surprise the kids

This Dino I got was defective it was missing a button where the tail is so it doesn't stay on good :(
