I was given a free sample to provide my honest review. Tha container did not indicate refrigeration was necessary, so my first tasting was of room-temp. cake. It was so-so. No distinct flavor , but a nice crunch from the nut topping. It occurred to me it should probably be cold, so I refrigerated it overnight. Second tasting- totally different! Cake layer was very good. Good choc. flavor and light cake. The mousse layer (didn't know it was mousse from packaging) was lovely! Light, fluffy and delicious. The pistachio topping was as good as before. It's big, so you'll need a chunk of room in the ‘frig !!

This cake is delicious but the execution is terrible. I probably would not buy it again. The top layer is all a soft whipped layer that does not hold its shape at all. When you cut it, the top half of the cake oozes/melts down making it very hard to cut into uniform pieces and VERY messy. The chocolate and pistachio topping makes it further hard to cut because those are a lot firmer than the whipped topping and just get pushed down into the cake, which makes the oozing problem worse. My advice if you try this cake, don't take the plastic ring off, and maybe buy with caution if you are taking it somewhere that you can't potentially clean up a mess. I didn't try freezing it, maybe that would help with firmness?

Keep it in the fridge of course! There should be no negative reviews because the two I read are not fair. One that says it was runny clearly had it hot because even warm this is not anywhere near runny but definitely needs to be refrigerated. To the other, it's reviewing a regular chocolate cake! This cake is perfectly moist, not too sweet (which is what I was afraid of) and had the perfect amount of Dubai tasting elements without overpowering it.

I was given a free sample for my honest review. The flavor of this cake is incredible and has all the dubai features! I would say it's hard to cut as the mousse texture is very soft. However, this cake is delicious and I would not let the texture stop me from buying this cake!

I really wanted to like this. I read the reviews and put my bets on the poor reviews were due to improper refrigeration. Boy was I wrong. The entire cake is just slop. It reminds me more of a mud pie. Impossible to slice because it just completely falls apart. So disappointed in this purchase.

Incredible balance between mousse and piped chocolate on top. Excellent combination of textures - crunchy, smooth, rich. I don't care if it's trendy it should become a staple. So good.

So I didn't try to Dubai style one but I had the regular chocolate mousse cake and immediately took it back to the store for a refund. It's the same chocolate mousse I'm sure and it tastes like rancid old milk.

This was better than a cake from a local bakery and for a fraction of the cost. Perfect balance. It's a very rich cake though, so cut small pieces and have your coffee or milk nearby to cut the sweetness!

Beautiful presentation. Chocolate %26 white chocolate curls on top add to the presentation. Nice layer of mousse %26 cake layer. Rich but not too sweet. A nice dessert for a special occasion. I wasn't expecting the mousse.
