One of a Kind Television

I absolutely love this television. The setup is beyond what I imagined. Quick access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Samsung Plus. The only negative thing, is that I do not like the volume feature on the remote. For whatever reason, it is difficult for me to use! With that being said, I still plan on buying both a 50 inch and 75 inch (or 65) of the SAME model.

Stepping up to this 75-inch Samsung Mini-LED TV is a game-changer, delivering striking brightness and deep contrast that make high-quality movies like *Puss in Boots* truly pop. It's the ultimate bang-for-your-buck option, providing premium 4K quality that gets you incredibly close to OLED performance without the premium price tag.

Remote Control

TV works good and the picture is good. No real complaints about the TV. The remote control is another subject. It doesn't have a number keypad, but it does have a button you can push which brings up numbers and the the screen, then you have arrow left or right or up and down then push an enter button to select a number. Way too much work to put in a TV channel. The whole remote is horrible compared to the older one I had on my last Samsung. Fortunately, my old remote works with this TV. Samsung really went backward when they designed the remote.

Good TV for the Price

The TV has a very good picture from all angles. The audio is just average. The physical setup was relatively easy. Going through the menu to setup the TV up at times was very confusing. Trying to find certain settings was very difficult at times. The remote did not come with a voice command button even though the TV supported voice control via Bixby so I had to buy another remote with the voice button. The paper instructions could have been more comprehensive. I added a sound bar to improve the audio quality.

Hi James,

We appreciate you sharing your experience regarding an unusual sound coming from your TV. The cause may vary depending on where the sound is coming from and how your system is set up.

• If the sound is coming from your TV speakers, or if you're using an external audio device like a soundbar, please double-check that the audio cable is securely connected to the correct audio output on the external device.
• If you're using an antenna or cable connection, a weak signal may result in sound distortion. You can check your broadcast signal level by going to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal
• If the sound seems to come from the back of the TV, it may be the result of thermal expansion or contraction of the outer casing. This can cause a soft popping noise and is considered normal - it does not indicate a malfunction, and your TV remains safe to use.

We also recommend running a Sound Test to check for audio issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test.

If the issue continues or you’d like assistance, feel free to contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime. Hi Jeff,

It’s unfortunate to hear you’re having trouble powering on your M70H TV. Please try these steps:

1. Power cord check: Ensure the TV’s power cord is securely connected at both ends and not visibly damaged.
2. Wall outlet check: Plug the TV directly into a working wall outlet (not a surge protector or power strip) and look for the red standby light near the bottom edge of the TV.
o Solid red light: Press the power button on the TV (underneath the Samsung logo) or use the remote.
o No light: The TV isn’t getting power.
o Blinking light: The TV may require service.
3. Test the remote: If the standby light is on but the TV won’t power on with the remote, try using the power button on the TV itself.
4. If the TV turns on but there’s no picture, try pressing the Home button. If the menu appears, check for correct source selection or potential external device issues.

If the issue continues, please reach out so we can help with further diagnostics or service. Call Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or chat with us online via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

~ Samsung Advisor

Not living up to your advertising

the TV is nothing but a huge disappointment. the remote is super janky . the Samsung TV app is glitchy and not user-friendly. it is very difficult to get unsupported apps. the apps that it does have is a short list. had to get a firestick to compensate for the massive short comings of this unit. never going to purchase any Samsung products again
