Best Buy for a tri-fuel generator!

I compared a lot of different tri-fuel generators and this one is the Best Buy. I’m using propane and wanted the option of natural gas. This beast has plenty of power, 50 amp, 30 amp, and 4 20 amp plugs, and push button start with a remote… basically the works. You won’t be disappointed!

Upgraded Generator WGen9500Tfc

My old generator was 20 years old and I needed an upgrade. After some research, I decided on the Westinghouse WGen9500Tfc. Arrived perfectly packaged, and after a couple of assembly steps, was ready to go! I love that this generator will run on propane or natural gas, in addition to gasoline. I will never need to be hassled anymore with storing gas, worrying about using stabilizer and getting stale. The generator works like a dream, just push the button for a perfect startup. The front panel provides all the connections you could ask for to connect individual items or to a home transfer switch. All-in-all, looks like a great unit that I expect to last for a long time.

Huge helper for peace of mind

I bought this several months ago after losing power to my home on Christmas eve. Fortunately, at the time, I had two strong teenage boys to carry water out of the basement 5 gallons at a time so our basement did not flood due to the sump pump being out of commission. This feller can help us turn what could be a miserable, long night into an easy 5 minute, "GOT YOUR BACK!" Runs nearly my entire house.

WGen9500TFC

I bought this item during Hurricane Beryln. All the electricians I talked suggested this brand. Shipment was very quick and installation was easy. So far I am happy with it. I definitely recommend it. Having a remote starter is a great feature. Thanks

Perfect for Our Needs

I purchased this generator primarily to keep our refrigerators and deep freezer going during power outages. There is plenty of overhead to power some other things, as well. I also plan to use the generator to run a few tools in my shop that require 220V, since I don't have a 220V circuit available. After unboxing, I cranked up the generator using propane. It cranked on the second attempt and ran perfectly. I tested it out with a few tools just to make sure everything was in working order. The tri-fuel option is perfect for my needs. Since use will be infrequent, I like having the option of running on propane or natural gas, since that will not result in leaving gasoline in the tank for long periods. My usage so far is minimal, but from what I have seen, this generator will be just what we have been needing.

Not 1 not 2 but 3 different fuel sources possible!

Purchased this unit six weeks ago. Unboxing and set-up went very smoothly. I utilized a 4-wheel dolly to set the shipping box on which made it very convenient to unpack and maneuver the unit around. It was easy to install the wheels and the foot brackets while the unit sat on the 4-wheel dolly. My first test of the unit, after properly adding the oil, and going through the remainder of the set-up instructions, was using propane gas as the fuel. The unit started up right away. I ran the generator for about 30 minutes with no problems. About two weeks later, after getting the proper connector for my house natural gas, I tested with natural gas. The generator did not start immediately, but on the second start attempt. Again I ran the unit for about 30 minutes with no problems. At this point, about two months after purchase, I am very satisfied with this Westinghouse tri-fuel capable generator.

Powerful generator versatile generator!

This is a great generator that provides maximum flexibility (Natural Gas / Propane / Gasoline)! I have it hooked up to a generator transfer switch for home power outages running on natural gas but it's also portable and I can take it camping and run off propane. Be prepared!

WGen9500TFc Generator

I just bought this generator and actually was simple to pull out of the box and put together. Best part is all the connections and even the oil were included. Connect to NG and pushed the button and fired up right away. Have not used it much but seems to generate power pretty well. So far happy with the purchase.

Perfect Backup for Home

I bought this generator for my mountain home backup. Runs my well, septic and half of my home for Frig, Freezer and Furnace. Able to run on continuos feed with NG from my house or propane tanks when moving around. I would use gasoline as a last resort so as to not have it get old in the tank. Really Happy with purchase. Starts easy and relatively quiet.

Greatest Christmas Present

Ok couldn’t wait to open wife’s gift till Christmas. Unbelievable solid build, manual was very well written and went into detail on which fuel ( gasoline, propane, natural gas) provided the best hours of operation and how to figure the appliances electric usage so you stay below the maximum output. Honestly hope I rarely use the generator but living on a river that has flooded will keep our sump pumps and freezers working until electricity comes back on.
