I bought this generator 4 months ago and am very glad I did. I live in a rural area & unfortunately lose power more than I care to admit. I love that it runs on gasoline, propane & natural gas. I have my house wired to transfer power to the generator as a back-up and love the peace of mind that comes with knowing I’ll have the essentials available no matter what happens

Purchased the TRI Fuel WGen9500TFC for an emergency. Living in Buffalo you never know how much snow you will get. You can be buried in snow for days at a time and if you lose power, you might be in trouble. This generator will solve all the issues back feeding the panel with an interlock kit. With the tri fuel running on natural gas, you will never have to worry. Fractions of the cost compared to installing a whole house stand by.

I am pleasantly surprised with size and look of Wgen9500 TFC. It looks very good quality and nice design. The generator was purchased at Electric Generator Direct and arrived in just 3 days, shipped in a cardboard box secured on a wooden pallet. All the accessories were in the box, just as in the advertisement for this model. Putting the wheels and pegs was easy.

I bought this generator for my mountain home backup. Runs my well, septic and half of my home for Frig, Freezer and Furnace. Able to run on continuos feed with NG from my house or propane tanks when moving around. I would use gasoline as a last resort so as to not have it get old in the tank. Really Happy with purchase. Starts easy and relatively quiet.

Just received my WGen9500Fc. This is replacing an older generator. Purchased it for the increased power output but the most important to us is the electric start! As I have some physical limitations that make using a "pull start" very difficult, this was a deciding factor for us. Right out of the box, it works as advertised! My wife or I can start with a push of the button or using the "fob" that is included. This model has Excellent ratings across the internet, so these were the deciding factors. With the changing climate and the increase of severe weather conditions, this will provide the added security we want. I have it connected to our home with a transfer switch. So we are prepared. Has a more robust frame than the last generator. This would be helpful if you use it as a portable power unit. Satisfied with our decision to go with this Westinghouse unit.

I purchased this generator and smart switch to use to power my house in the case of a power loss. As of yet, all I have done is put a gallon of gas in and oil in the crankcase. Fired it up once with the remote and powered a fan in my garage. It seems to work just fine. I love having the remote start and the fact that it is a tri-fuel model gives me options on what to fuel it with.

Bought this cause some of my friends in nearby neighborhoods have lost power for 3+ days at a time before and wanted to be prepared in case it happens to me. This thing is a beast! Mainly wanted it for my fridge and 2 freezers and it won't have any issues powering those lol.

I just purchased this because of the 3 fuel options available. After hurricane Ida in 2020 I was out of power for 18 days and had to run my gas only generator. Besides the cost of gas it was hard to find and had to wait in line for hours to get some.

This was the 2nd Westinghouse generator we bought, the first was just smaller. This generator is easy to ignite and the energy source options gives you longer run time. We definitely need that for the hurricane seasons we encounter yearly. This is a great generator and glad to add it to our hurricane preparedness tools.

worked great first time around. had two days of local power outage. The UPS's had a fit. all within specs +/-3 hz. They were bouncing all around. Had to unplug them. Even bought new, PFC/AVR, it didnt like the incoming power. I will be calling support. Watch out for your high amp current draw on start up, AC unit, this impacts other circuits that have sensitive electronics on them. Old UPS's may not like the input and 'think' they are on battery.
