Tons of features compared to my predator generator

I’m surprised with the amount of items included with the generator. Trickle charger was a major plus since generator will be used on power outages. I’m glad I don’t have to go around buying a battery, wheel kit, hour meter, trickle charger. Definitely the biggest bang for your buck.

Great Generator So Far!

This has worked great ever since I finally got it running! The pull start was frustrating for me but perhaps that was operator error. After it started the first time I used the Start/Stop button which works flawlessly. Also the remote start is super convenient. After I use this for a couple of months I am sure I will update it to 5 stars (I just need to test it a bit more to be certain).

Great generator

We purchased this generator to use at a cabin that has no electric at all. We bought it so we can run a small ac, couple of lights, chargers and a well pump. It starts very quickly without any issues. Love the idea of a remote start as well. We purchased the tri fuel in the event that a severe storm takes our power out again we can hook it up to the house natural gas and still have some electric. We look forward to using this for years to come.

Looking forward to putting this generator to work

I recently purchased the 12000/9500w generator, so far out of the box everything but the key fob works. I love having the capability of having 50a to play with. Would have given 5 stars had I been able to get the key fob to link up with the unit. Will update at a later time after some use

Just what we were looking for!

After losing power for three days we bought this to hook up to our electrical panel during outages. Texas seems to be dealing with this more and more. The electrician added a plug to our electrical panel and the generator can run most of our house. Amazing and so comforting to feel prepared. Great machine, high powered, love the versatility of tri fuel, easy to use, highly recommend.

Looks like advertised, sturdy build

Bought after storm Helene struck this area and I was out of power for 5 days. If this device is as good as the way it was packed for shipping I will be OK. Easy to put together, wheels and 2 stands. One person with a little muscle can handle that. This generator looks like it can handle a situation like that. Wish I had been proactive instead of reactive.

Westinghouse 9500 TriFuel Portable Generator Great

I bought the W-house tri-fuel generator for emergency power and flexibility of fuels. No flaws or damage on delivery and super-simple final assembly -just prop up and put wheels on with a cotter-key, attach front feet, and connect the battery ! Of course -you NEED to put oil in (it’s provided) before you run it. Noise level is appropriate for this size generator. Test starts with my table saw (12A), and large shop vac(6A) were regulated smoothly and quickly with O-scope, waveform has minimal noise. Frequency showed 61Hz, but I haven’t run it on Natural Gas yet where it might be slightly slower (less Hz). The regulation was very tight when large loads come on, recovering in 2-3 seconds. The remote start FOB works well, though it’s a little different than I’m used to. Read the instructions carefully for pairing - note that the “battery power” indicator is a constant yellow light. The “Green” backlight that they instruct you to press “Start” for is the normal start button. All’s well, it just took me a few min to get that the “Battery Power” light is yellow, not Green. Finally, the wheels are mounted for great balance so that lifting the handle to move the generator is surprisingly light, easier than other generators this size (Thanks!).

Solid Powerhouse for Backup Needs 🔋🏡

The Westinghouse WGen9500TFC is a solid choice if you’re looking for a reliable backup generator. I’ve been using it mainly for power outages and occasional outdoor events, and it’s got some serious juice—9,500 running watts and a whopping 12,500 peak watts. It’s plenty powerful for keeping essentials like the fridge, lights, and even a small AC unit running without breaking a sweat. Setup was surprisingly straightforward. It’s got an electric start, which saves the hassle of manual pulling, plus remote start (nice bonus when you don’t want to step outside). It’s a bit hefty at around 220 lbs, but the wheels make it manageable enough to move around. For a unit this size, expect some noise, but nothing that feels unreasonable for the power output. One cool touch is the transfer switch-ready outlet, making it easier to connect to your home setup. Compared to similar generators I’ve tried, like the DuroMax or Champion models, the Westinghouse feels like it’s built with just a bit more attention to detail. That said, it does gulp down fuel, so be prepared for frequent refills if you’re running it for long periods. Overall, it’s a reliable and powerful option for anyone looking for peace of mind during blackouts or wanting to power up outdoor events. Just keep an eye on the fuel gauge!

great features

I haven't had it very long but one reason I bought it is because of the tri fuel feature. I like that it can use propane, natural and gasoline. We have power outages occasionally and will like having a backup plan. It's not too bulky and will fit in my garage without taking up too much room.

Great generator! Westinghouse is the best there is

After two weeks of having this generstor we got a bad storm and lost power. Within minutes it was powering the whole house. Love the trifuel flexibility. This thing is solid as a rock. I am happy with my purchase and looking forward to using it for many years to come. Setup took 5 minutes. Was very easy, they give you everything you need!
