Best Buy for a tri-fuel generator!

I compared a lot of different tri-fuel generators and this one is the Best Buy. I’m using propane and wanted the option of natural gas. This beast has plenty of power, 50 amp, 30 amp, and 4 20 amp plugs, and push button start with a remote… basically the works. You won’t be disappointed!

Great product

I bought this after Hurricane Beryl. We got lucky, but not going to take a chance again. This generator is what I was looking for. Enough power for the things I need it to power. I like the option with three fuels so I have flexibility to power it. The safety features and options are a huge plus too..

Great Generator!

I bought this at the beginning of Hurricane season down in the south. Shipment was quick and contained everything needed for assembly. I have yet to run it but just having this in the garage already has me at ease with the upcoming hurricane season. Great build quality!!

Can't wait to use it!

I was extremely impressed my the performance of this generator when I witnessed first hand how well it worked at a friend's 1600sqft home. She was able to run her AC, all the lights, TVs and power her important appliances like refrigerator, deep freeze. It's easy to move around with the built in handle, very sturdy!

Fits my needs perfectly

I bought this to provide power to my whole house, replacing a small inverter generator that I was using to power up a small window A/C unit and a few small appliances. My home is set up for natural gas so getting a tri-fuel model was high on my list. After researching various brands, I settled on the Westinghouse 9500TFc as it is the only generator in this size that provides a 50A plug. I also like the fact that it can be remote started and weighs only about 200 lbs. The large wheels and foldable handle make it easy to move around with only one person. I have yet to actually use it beyond the initial break-in period. The only small annoyance is the user manual which leaves a lot to be desired. Fortunately for me, there are plenty of how-to videos online.

Westinghouse Review

I've been using my Westinghouse generator for several months now, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. It's incredibly reliable, easy to start, and surprisingly quiet for a generator of its size. Whether it's for powering essential appliances during outages or running tools on a job site, it handles everything with ease.

Ready for the next extended power outage

Purchased to replace my current generator that wasn’t powerful enough to handle our central AC unit. This generator meets all my needs including being powerful enough and tri-fuel. Simple to assemble (just install wheels and feet) and add oil. Fired right up on propane and I’ve also tested it on natural gas. I added a soft start to my 3.5 ton AC unit and everything is working great! We are now storm ready!

Useful for house and tool backup

I bought this to help provide backup power for my house and to provide power if I need to run tools further away. So far it has been ideal for this. My only complaint is that is not not clear what pressure and pipe size is needed for the Natural gas hookup. This lead to some extra time and work with my plumber to get an appropriate hookup installed

Good generator!

This is my first generator, and I like that its powerful and can run a long time. I couldn't figure out why my fridge kept tripping the gfci outlet, and later learned that most newer fridges can't run on a gfci. I'm going to get adapters for the 30 & 50 amp outlets so I can get more use out of this generator.

Exactly what we needed!

I've been looking at a generator for a couple years now as our neighborhood loses power a couple times a year from storms taking out power lines and whatnot. The trifuel capability gives us the flexibility to utilize our resources most efficiently in emergencies as they come. While I have not yet used it during a power outage, I have hooked it up and ran the proper heavy duty extension cords to make sure it could handle our load out when the time comes (2 refrigerator/freezers, 1 chest freezer, and two space heaters) and it ran the load on natural gas for an hour straight with no issues, which for an initial test run I consider a success! Cannot wait for the time to use it for real!
