After I washed my face with a cleanser, a towel is wet in cool water. I used it to wipe off the cleanser or any residue left behind. The towel felt soft, and very light. It doesn't have any smell. Then I rinsed off the towel, squeezed it dry and used it again to clean my face a second time. My face felt very clean and dry since it absorbed water nicely. The material held up well. I did a strength test by stretching it, and it didn't tear. I rinsed it again and dried it, then used it to wipe off my mirror. To my surprise, it didn't leave streaks. I washed it again & used it to wipe around my countertop and sink. It was frayed a bit then, but still held up well. After all those many uses, I was finally willing to part with it. I don't recommend throwing it in the toilet since the material is very strong & it will not break apart & will clog! I definitely recommend this facial towel. Loved it!

It's not as exfoliating as I'd like, but removes oil well enough with the right toner. It doesn't pill or create lint as you use it so that's a plus.
