I wish I could rate the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill a five star rating because I really loved this unit …. BUT you see I said LOVED!
I love my coffee and after trying various burr grinders, found the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill best.
I would like to share my Cuisinart story with you. I am (as well as my family) are long time “Cuisinart” brand loyal customers, toasters, coffee makers, coffee grinders, panini press makers, food processors, hand held wands, mini choppers, pots, pans, mixers, blenders, and the list goes on and on. Long time loyalty to Cuisinart.
The most recent unit I have started having issues like previous units so I mentioned it to my family members and learned within our family we have owned and/or purchased about 9-10-11 units, even bought these as gifts for other friends and family members because we loved the product so much.
Even with the proper usage, cleaning, and care of this unit….each one ending up with the same symptoms, same problem, same outcome- NOT WORKING.
As I was complaining about my current Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill not working….this is when we realized what was happening.
I asked, if it could be a fluke that all these units are the same?!?!?! It's just a flaw with this unit.
No matter what it is…..most bothersome of it all is that my mom, 87 years old had 5 units in her garage placed back in original packaging because each time one stopped working she thought maybe someone could fix it, she placed it back in the box and put it out in her garage. Then she purchased a new one replacing the broken. I would like to share some information with you regarding our mom, she has pancreatic cancer and dealing with this illness has prompted me to reach out directly to Cuisinart. I started assisting my mom in her garage and saw these boxed units, when she said they had something wrong and were broken…I was blown away seeing these units like a mini Wearhouse. I threw all of these away and as time passed I kept thinking about it I was more disappointed and frustrated.
I was going to replace my mom's coffee grinder to bring a smile to her face but after learning how many she and our family has had issues with…I wish we would have figured out all of these issues with this product years ago.
As I was looking to purchase a new one I asked why and stated looking for a different brand but still feeling disappointed and frustrated returned to your website to submit this review.
Sad this product has such great potential but yet consistent problems and issues that Cuisinart hasn't improved something figured out how to solve the problems this unit has.
I know nothing lasts forever and I do respect the Cuisinart brand but this one product has been disappointing. Just wanted to share my story.
