The box that catches the ground coffee is brittle plastic.

Only drawback is static causes coffee to stick to bin, and gets a little messy.

It does not grind as quickly as my last Cuisinart grinder

I am happy with my coffee mill and would recommend to others.

Very noisy and creates too much static. Coffee grounds go everywhere when the container is opened.
