I have been more than satisfied with this model of Cuisinart grinder for more than 10 years. When the grinder expired a few weeks ago, I checked the internet to see what was available to replace that grinder, I was pleased to note that it was still highly rated by consumers. I purchased a replacement that has been working beautifully.

I took my time deciding if I wanted to purchase a grinder or just stick with ground coffee. Once I received some bean coffee as a gift, I knew it was time to stop using my blender! I love cuisinart products and this was a great find compared to the other brands out their for the money.

I was tired of the mess and inconsistent grind of spinning blade grinders. After researching grinders types, I decided on a burr mill. The price was right on this one, so I figured it was a good starting point. My wife makes “Spanish Coffee”, which is expresso ground coffee and boiled milk. It needs a fine grind. I use an old stovetop percolator that requires a larger grind than I can find in premground coffee. Using the whirling blade type results in some really fine grounds, some large, all in the same “grind”. This one is super simple to use, just select how many cups, grind size, and hit start. Done. Perfect. Every time!

This grinder reminds me of a Waring version I had decades ago but this new model comes wth a lot of extras. It automatically ginds the right amount of beans for any size pot and turns itself off. The top holds a generous supply if beans and you can choose the corseness of the grind. And best of all it is relatvely quiet for a small motor appliance. It takes up a bit of space but is attractve on the counter.

Have had over a month now and love it. Perfect size to sit on counter next to coffee maker which is also Cuisinart. It grinds from very fine to coarse. You can set it for how much you want to grind too. Just push the button and walk away. Great features! I've always liked the Cuisinart brand. Never any issues.

I love this Burr Grinder as I can take beans from a Ultra Fine grind to a Course and anywhere in-between. This allows you to play with strengths and flavor profiles of any beans you try. Easy to use and maintenance free. The only thing I would like is too have a scoop shape the same as cup for grounds.

I generally like the grinder; it grinds coffee fine in the way I like it. One thing I don't find as good is the static that builds up in the coffee container once ground. When taking the coffee out, coffee tends to get all over the counter. This may be due to the material the grinding mechanism is made of.

Coffee ground output is dusty, which makes for problems when brewing. Also makes for problems when transferring the grounds to the filter. Also, the slider quantity is a little on the light side vs the # of cups of coffee made. For example, the slider should be at 6 (or more) for 4 cups brewed. That said, it's very convenient to be able to store a lot of beans in there and adjust the slider for the # cups being brewed. One will likely have to adjust the setting for machine / technique / preference anyway, so having a reference point is very nice.

This grinder replaces the same item purchased 2 or 3 years ago. Every morning we grind enough coffee beans for 2 pots of coffee. We clean the grinder about every 6-9 months when it "gets hung up" - as the "hang ups" become more frequent, it's clear we need to replace the grinder. We opted to buy this item again since it gets the job done, is not a costly item to replace every 2-3 years-ish, it looks nice on our kitchen counter.

Works great- we love our morning coffee, thanks to this grinder. The only negative is it’s pretty noisy-so when we have overnight guests who sleep in, my husband takes the grinder outside to grind the beans. But it’s worth it-because they love our coffee-and so do we!
