[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to try a GE Brand of toaster. What a classy elegant 4 slice toaster! It is simple to use. The design is classy, clean, and functional. We love the variety of toast options that has 7 shades of doneness. We especially love how turning the knob "clicks" to the number selected to how much you want your toast done (lightly to dark). The slots are big enough for anything you want toasted. It toasts everything perfectly. This toaster was well thought out. It looks great on our countertop. It is easy to clean as well. We also got it at a great sales price. We would highly recommend this GE 4 slice toaster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok. Well. We have had friends make fun of us in how long we keep damaged or poorly performing toasters. Our last one required that we tape the cord to the bottom of the upper cabinets so as to circumvent the power cord electrical short. Hey! We got 30 years out of that unit. But they aren't making fun of us anymore. Our new GE rocks! Clean. Attractive. Functional. Our first piece of toast was perfect. I set the darkness to #4 and it popped out timely and in perfect toasted condition. We are very pleased with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Evenly toasts on both sides. A little slower than my old toaster and the shade controls are hard to read. I wish the crumb tray pulled out from the front, the slots are plenty wide. If i were designing this is would have made the numbers on the shade control easier to read with a distintive mark or raised area on dial to tell where it's pointed.

So far I like the toaster. My last two were Cuisinarts. They are more expensive but don’t toast evenly. The GE maybe takes a little longer but I like that the bagels or rolls come out crisp on the outside but softer on the inside. The controls however are a little harder to turn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Appears to be a quality GE product, nice finish, controls very simple, performed a couple of pre burns. It works, toasts bread well, took a couple of try’s to get browning setting the way I like. Tomorrow we tackle a bagel or a hamburger bun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the product need more insulation barrier because after you finish toasting or while toasting the toaster is very hot to the touch on my counter top at #3 sitting. Need to be careful around small children. NOT KIDS FRIENDLY.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second GE toaster. We’ve used the two-slice, smaller toaster for over a year now and decided to purchase this larger four-slice model. We’ve used anticipate this larger model to have the same excellent performance as our smaller model.

Not impressed at all! Way over priced! Performance poor! Not what expected! My other appliances that state they are stainless steel,” are just that! This toaster must be the “new cheapest” version! I am dealing with cancer and this is the least on my list of concerns. not
