Your son’s health and well-being are very important to us, so all of our products go through extensive evaluations to ensure irritation is unlikely to occur even on the most sensitive of skin. We assure you that Huggies® diapers cannot cause chemical burns since they are made of materials that do not create any type of chemical reaction. We know how concerning this must be and want to assure you that our products/ingredients are rigorously tested to be gentle on sensitive skin. While we know this is not ideal, we wanted to let you know it sounds like the “gel” you’re referring to is our non-toxic, super absorbent material that can sometimes break out of the diaper when the absorbency capacity has been reached.
