I bought a box today in July 2025 and immediately noticed the box was thinner than what I used to buy. Then I started checking the internet about shrinkflation and discovered that Kellogg's is a primary culprit. This just really seems sleazy and deceptive. Such practices "leave a bad taste in your mouth". After a lifetime of 55+ years enjoying your cereal, I've decided it's time to try something new.

Not a problem with taste, that's fine. But my wife brought home a family sized box of Raisin Bran that only I eat, I must say it was the first box that had only 15 raisins in the whole box. I dumped out the box after not getting a single raisin half way through the box, and counted the raisins did quality control miss this box or what. Please send me some raisins to put on my next box.

I grew up eating raisin brand. It was my most favorite cereal. I'm not sure what they changed but it now taste like cardboard. The flakes are very heavy and taste terrible. I understand that they want to be heart healthy but I believe they should have kept it the way it was. Let the consumer make the choice of picking the regular or heart healthy. I so disappointed and will miss the great taste of Kellogg's raisin brand. I will no longer buy again.

I dont know why they changed the flake was my favorite now I can't even eat it. Why would you change it this is absolutely terrible. Whole cereal is different. I loved raisin bran now have to find something else. Hopefully they'll switch it back. Flakes are too thick not fresh terrible

Please improve your quality control. Nearly every other box has excessive raisins in it. In those boxes, most bowls of cereal has an unpleasantly high ratio of raisins to bran flakes. Usually this occurs in the last 1/2-3/4 of the box. Otherwise, Raisin Bran is in my top 4 of cereals I rotate through. I have cereal every night…I don't know what that says about me other than I like cereal. Kellogg's, I hold you at higher standards which is why it's a 3 star. Improve this and you'll quickly rise to a 5 star. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I saw that I could review a box of Kellogg's Raisin Bran since its always been one of my favorite cereals ever. Its just perfect, its good for you and it tastes so good. I was even happier when I opened the package and found that #tryitsampling had sent me a HUGE MEGA BOX, maybe ill get to eat more than 1 or 2 bowls this time, my husband could live on cereal especially #raisinbran mmm, im starting to think maybe we both could. I have faithfully eaten this cereal since the 1960's. 2 years or so ago I bought a box and the taste was off. I bought 2 different boxes at different locations and had same results. I contacted the company and they said they made no changes. Well then they are buying the materials from some where else (probably to save money) I no longer buy the cereal which stinks for me I ate a lot of it. Well that my review for what it is worth.

My favorite cereal I eat it several times a week with fruit.

I use Raisin Bran cereal to make these wonderful muffins which I share with family, friends and neighbors. Everyone loves them!!

There are far fewer raisins in this cereal than a few years ago. Guess you are using much smaller scoops!
