Doritos (/dəˈriːtoʊz/) is an American brand of flavored tortilla chips produced since 1964 by Frito-Lay, a wholly owned subsidiary of PepsiCo. The original Doritos were not flavored. The first flavor was Toasted Corn, released in 1966, followed by Taco in 1967 and Nacho Cheese in 1972.

Doritos cool ranch are very good. The flavor is where it will even stand out when used with a dip. It’s not overpowering. Even my son who only likes certain mild chips will eat these. I like that the flavor is there but don’t like it coming off on my hands.

I grew up poor. We didn’t have snack food in our home. In the 6th grade, I spent the night at a friends house. Her Mom offered me cool ranch Doritos. When i ate the 1st one, it was like heaven in my mouth! I wanted to eat the whole bag, but I was too embarrassed to. They are my favorite chips since then!

recently, i discovered that im allergic to cool ranch doritos. when i was younger i was obsessed with these chips and would only eat them if i ever had a craving for snacks. later on in life i stopped eating them because they started to taste like ranch. after my manager bought some for all of the employees though, years after me turning my back on these lovely chips, i decided to try some. surprisingly, they no longer tasted like ranch! my taste buds were dancing all over the crunchy, zesty, backflipping flavor. boy oh boy did i love the first five minutes. well, until my lips started to burn. Thats when i realized i am allergic to these heavenly chips. after i realized, i didnt want to turn away again so i ignored that i was allergic. chip after chip, bag after bag, i would consume. until it got bad enough i decided to finally quit, and end my tasty pain and suffering. these bring back memories of road trips with my dad, for he would always buy me cool ranch doritos on our trips. great memories. thank you for letting me take your time, PEACE HOMESLICE.

When it comes to chips, I'm not a big chip eater, but I will eat cool ranch diritos any day any time. I love the explosion of flavor. My kids love them too. I know I should be getting healthier snacks but sometimes you cave in and get the chips or cookies.

We keep these on hand in our house and use them for so much more than just a snack. Great to crush and mix half and half with our regular breading for oven fried chicken (incredible), is our favorite chip for taco salad, I could go on and on. Love these!

These Doritos are the BEST!! Especially the ones with the cool ranch flavor on them. Not all the chips in the bag have the cool ranch on them and some of them have way too much. Only thing I would recommend is trying to make each chip have an equal amount of ranch flavor on them. Sometimes it feels like I’m just eating a tortilla chip and other times it’s just and over powering ranch flavor on the chip. Otherwise the flavor is perfect!

Wow, whoever thought of this flavor AND developed it so well should be given a bonus!! Cant stop eating them once I start. I even start drooling when I hear the bag rattle in the evening
