It is quiet so you can use it anywhere and the LED light could double as a night light in the dark. A con is that it does need to be plugged in so it isn’t portable for things like tent camping or fishing. You’ll need electricity. I love that it is easy to change out the sticky paper on the bottom and not at all messy. Great for the upcoming summer months!

The item was very easy to assemble. set up literally took less than two minutes. Once assembled I plugged the unit in and allowed it to go to work. As this is a fan trap, there is a very low level hum as the fan works. It sucks up huge mosquitoes with no mess. Our area had a heavy mosquito population this year and the stem flying insect fan trap truly made our life a lot easier. I rated a solid A..

( white noise) The light, in the dark kitchen, is pleasant. It is low enough to not be a distraction but high enough to attract bugs. We have used it several weeks now and it IS catching small kitchen flying bugs. There are enough refills to keep us operational for awhile. I like the looks and sound of the unit very much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flying bug trap works for a small area. I have a large enclosed area after many days of the trap on enclosed is the photo of what was caught. I did still have many flying around. For the cost of this I would not recommend.

However, from testing it so far, I think it will be a good addition to our bug defense. The blue light is bright to attract flying critters. The fan is relatively quiet. I wish it was rechargeable/cordless, so that it can be placed anywhere.
