These were better than expected. I'm glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews. I heated them in toaster oven and they were perfect. I love that they aren't too sweet, just the right amount of chocolate and flaky!

I had these when I was traveling in Europe and I'm glad someone brought them to the local Sams Club. These things taste great. Disregard the negative reviews. Just read the instructions properly. You need to reheat them at 350 F for 1-2 minutes and they become flaky again. Seriously all of you need to read the directions that are written in the fine print.

If you try to eat one right out of the package, it will be a disappointing experience. With a little help though, it becomes really special. Warm it in the microwave for several seconds. That perks up the bread. Cut it open and add some butter and chocolate chips if they happen to be on hand. Put it back in microwave a few seconds more to melt butter and extra chocolate. Now you have a real treat.
