Yamaha hits!

The soundbar is amazing. Easy to connect, and the sound is outstanding. I love the versatility of the sound channels and the voice assistant element. The built in subwoofer makes the bass deep while balancing the overall audio. Great item!

Great value and a great sound bar

The shipping was very fast, and the item arrived without delay. The sound quality is fantastic I tested it with several movies and Dolby Atmos clips, and the audio is beautiful, clear, and precise. Setup and connectivity were incredibly easy. It offers multiple input options like HDMI passthrough, optical, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and network streaming. I also appreciate that it has the option to add wireless surround speakers and a subwoofer later. Honestly, the sound is rich enough for a medium-sized room, and I didn't even feel the need for an external subwoofer. There are only two minor drawbacks: First, I wish it had a small display screen for the settings to make them easier to understand. Second, I tried to turn off or dim the front LED lights but couldn't figure out how; I really wish there was an easy way to dim them. Overall, I highly recommend this soundbar. The value for the price is absolutely excellent.

Good value, must connect HDMI for tv.

It took some doing for me to get the HDMI eARC working. When I got it hooked up the tv was showing output to HD.., but there was no sound. I tried optical, again no sound. I set it to Bluetooth, and it did work, but the sound delay from video was unbearable!! I took another HDMI cord and spent a ridiculous amount of time squeezing my arm behind the mounted TV trying to get the correct connector, which I could not see, hooked up and plugged this into the soundbar and tada, it just immediately worked. I am happy as I was going to pay an expert to help if this didn't work. The sound is not amazing, but way better than tv speakers and voices are pretty clear. Do get some stereo effects. Definitely good for a small space where you don't have room for a full surround setup. Very good for the price.

It's decent for the price

There is not alot known about this sound bar. I would not believe the original price, it is just and no one would be buying it at the original price, at the current price though it seems decent. It is a one piece sound bar with build in 3" subwoofers, lets be realistic, it is not exactly going to shake your house. At first I did not like the sound, it almost sounded like tinny, like computer speakers, after a few days of use it did open up and sounds more natural. It seem to enhance at low volume situation, you have to decide if it make sense to buy a soundbar to watch quietly but with more clear dialog? It can get loud too, and it will do that better than the TV does. Just don't expect a home theater out of this, because it is not. There is basically no instructions, at least I didn't find one and had to look online. with Even then it is only a brief description of the sound modes. However it is hooked up to HDMI easily the TV remote can now control the volume. If you are looking for a single soundbar without needing to worry placing a wireless subwoofer, consider this one for the current price.

Not for a larger room

It sounds ok but if the room is large the sound doesn't carry well. I have had other yamaha sound bars before this one just isn't the same it works but if the room is over 15 to 18 feet it will not care the sound well. Would work well in smaller room.

Poor quality

This speaker does not have a full sound. I bought it to replace a 6 year old LG soundbar and honestly the LG model sounds much better. The remote control has a delayed response and is very cheaply made. There are buttons on it that have no purpose. I can see why Sam's marked down this model so dramatically.
