Great size for my kindergartener. Love the backpack side pockets for water bottles it fits different size bottles like zak!, owala, and thermos. The lunch bag is also a good size and also has a side pocket. The lunch bag fits the omie lunch box inside perfectly (I tried both the bigger and smaller box).

The backpack feels heavy duty The zippers glide easily, so my preschooler can zip-up herself. The lunch also detached easily enough.

The backpack is really cute. Very good quality for the price. However, this is definitely not 17in. Only buy this backpack if it’s for a preschool child or kindergartener. Too small for 1st grader and up.

Agree with other reviews, backpack is on the smaller side and not for kids past 1st grade. Wish it was bigger. Seems like good material, we’ll see how it lasts this school year.

Much smallwr than expected and very light. PRE-K, K and maybe 1st grade. Attachable lunch bag is nice. Kiddo might need some practice getting it on and off the backpack.
