After shampooing & conditioning I applied the serum. Most of the time I applied the serum the morning after because I like applying it on dry hair better. Once applied you can feel the minty tingle & it’s very invigorating.

It has a watery consistency that absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving any greasy residue, which makes it really easy to use daily. One thing I noticed right away is the slight cooling sensation from the menthol—it feels refreshing, especially on days when my scalp feels irritated or dry. After consistent use, my hair feels stronger overall and I’ve noticed less breakage when brushing. It made my scalp feel tingly minty which I enjoyed especially as it made it easy to tell where I had already applied it. The applicator is great and the product absorbed well enough after a little bit of rubbing. I don’t think it made my hair oily or sticky by any means and I really do think it helped!!! I wish there was more product in the bottle and also that you could see through the bottle as I have no idea when I am close to running out.

That’s only a little over half the time required to see promised results, bbut I like this stuff anyway—so far, aleast. It is part of a three-product system formulated to help you re-grow stronger, healthier hair, especially in areas that might have already ustarted thinning due to age or damage. As a conditioner, its directed use is typical and at straightforward. It has a very pleasant scent that I enjoy, and it does seem to soften and condition my hair nicely. The only problem I have with this stuff is actually kind of a big one: it’s not cruelty-free. Pantene says they are moving toward non-animal experiments for testing their I ingredients, but they and I their parent company sell their products in countries where cats and rabbits are tortured in the name of beauty. I can’t recommend this product until it is TRULY cruelty-free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pantene Pro-V Minerals Abundant & Strong Scalp & Root Serum. This was the product I was most curious about, and ended up the favorite. The serum is lightweight and comes in a dropper bottle, which makes it easy to apply to the scalp. I used a few drops directly along my part and gently massaged it in. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave the scalp greasy or sticky (which every other scalp serum I have tried, has done). It feels like a treatment vs. a styling product. After using it consistently, my hair feels healthier at the roots and I had significantly less shedding and hairline the shower & hairbrush. It’s a great addition to a hair routine if you want to focus on scalp care and stronger looking hair over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all of the products in this line. This is my least favorite. I’ve been using it for over 6wks to test the full system. By itself it made my hair more tangled. But I found if I shampooed and only partially rinsed the shampoo and added the conditioner it helped overall. I’m not sure how much the conditioner has helped because I am still getting great results with just the shampoo and serum.

It invigorated my split ends with new life. I love the peachy color packaging. The conditioner has a nice and thick feel. The packaging is pretty peach too. As you can tell from my before picture (wavier strand) versus after picture (straighter strand), I dont know how much of a true difference there was in my hair quality. It doesnt weight down my hair at all. Still for the scent and consistency and brand recognition, I would highly recommend.

If you have a problem with hair loss, this definitely will help your issues (as long as you’re actively using the product.) I would lose minimum 20-30 hairs in the shower and I shower daily. When using this, I MAYBE lost 2-3 hairs each shower. I could definitely see a difference in that. Not as much my hairline or anything, but I know if I used this for an even more extended period of time, I would have good results. ONLY NEGATIVE is that this does tingle your scalp and I used it sparingly. Some people might think it’s a burning sensation. The scent is light and not “mediciney”. If you have issues with hair loss, give it a shot! Expect to lose a lot of hair once you stop using the product though. Consistency is key. The serum (to me) isn’t as necessary as the shampoo, but I’d use the system if you are wanting best results.
