Does not leave any residue after applying, during five minutes under the water the hair roots should be rinsed at all. One of it important ingredients is cetyl and stearyl alcohol which helps with moisturizing the hair.

But then the instructions say to coat every strand and use more long or thick hair, which means I'd need 2 bottles for the 1 of shampoo.
