I did think that it helped cut back on my hair breakage, and it helped to reduce some of my frizziness.

I docked a star because I really don't like the added microbeads in the formulation. It makes it seem a little cheap, not like a true luxury shampoo. Other than that, the scent was fine but not exceptional or offensive, just fine. One thing to mention is that the bottle has less product than the corresponding shampoo bottle. As someone with very long hair, this is frustrating because I always need a lot of conditioner!

I used this serum on my wet hair after I showered and I also used it on my dry hair. It didn't make my hair look greasy or anything after it dried. After using it for a long period of time I do notice my hair on the sides isn't as sparse. I also used this serum along with the shampoo and conditioner that go with it.
