[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Pantene Abundant and Strong scalp and root serum for several weeks along with the shampoo and conditioner because I have been losing a lot more hair than I typically had been since being in peri-menopause. I noticed my hair thick hair feeling a lot thinner and noticed more hair in my hair brush. Since the first use I saw significantly less hair in my brush and less shedding throughout the day. I plan on continuing to use this since it has been working so well for me. This is easy to use on wet or dry hair. I just section my hair and apply to my scalp and massage. I section my hair differently each day to get maximum result over my entire scalp. The bottle and dropper are easy to use. The serum comes out at the perfect amount and it leaves my hair smelling great.

Well I'm not sure about the ingredients, but I can say that I love how my hair feels after using this conditioner following the matching shampoo. I feel like the little dark pink dots are going to be gritty yet they just melt right into your hair and give it an extra boost of softness, I also noticed that my hair doesn't get super flat right away, which I have noticed with other thicker conditioners. I also noticed that this doesn't have much of a scent either, so I don't have to worry about competing smells with my other products.

It also when put on your scalp kinda tingles. I use to have some balding around my temples but after using this serum I am seeing hair return.

The application process—parting your hair in sections and applying a full line of serum—is a bit time consuming. It does smell good, but the scent is pretty strong and lingering. Unfortunately after all the effort, I didn't notice any change in growth or thickness. My hair felt a bit greasy afterwards. On top of that, the amount of serum needed in such a small bottle is not a budget friendly solution, especially since there were no great results.
