This smells great just like the other products in the line! With the Pantene Pro-V Miracles Abundant & Strong Scalp Root Serum I noticed a difference with root retention and less shedding two months in to using it. I have less hair that I am picking out of the drain and my hair feels fuller because I am not losing as much hair every day. The root serum is not greasy at all and works on all hair types. It goes on wet or dry hair, but I preferred to put it on semi dry hair. You split your hair into 4-5 sections , apply the serum with the long applicator and then you just massage it in. It does have a warming/cooling effect when applied, but it doesn't last too long. It has a pleasant smell too. The root serum used in connection with the shampoo and conditioner has been a game changer for my hair loss!

My only complaint is the size; I have thick hair despite all the shedding, so it often requires a bit more conditioning than the average person.
