I actually use a toothbrush that I designated for my babyhair, and massage it into the roots. My bangs area has had alot of breakage. My continued use of this serum has helped lessen shedding and breakage in this area. Plus, the scent is amazing! I will continue using this. I received this in exchange for my opinion.

This conditioner is absolutely wonderful and has little beads of Pro-V to help nourish and moisturize your hair. I love the scent and the thickness of the conditioner and that the tube makes it easy to dispense. I noticed it seriously smoothed my hair our and made it feel like I just walked out of a salon. My comb easily went thru my hair, a detangling success! My hair stayed pretty voluminous for at least 2 days. I highly recommend this whole set!

I am 43 and my hair sheds quite a bit and I didn't notice any change when using these products. There wasn't any irritation and it smelled pleasant but I just can't justify the price for the size of the bottles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Pantene Abundant & Strong system for the past few months. First, the positive… I love the fragrance! It's both sweet and floral without being overpowering. But overall the scalp and root serum specifically has a mixed review for me. I personally have fine, lower density hair. That makes serums a bit of a gamble for me. I have not been able to use the serum on a daily basis simply because even a small amount causes my scalp to get greasy. The last thing I want after spending time washing, conditioning, and styling my hair is to have an oily scalp! That's why I think this particular product would be best for people with thicker, more dense hair. As far as how it feels, it is a medium consistency oil in my opinion. I have experienced both lighter and much, much heavier. It leaves a pleasant tingling feeling on the scalp after it's rubbed in. However, this can also become a little much for me as I tend to have sensitive skin. The before and after pictures that I posted do seem to show some improvement in the four months that I've used this. But as I could not use this particular part of the routine on a daily basis, I can't say that it's all due to the serum, or the combination of the Pantene Abundant and Strong products.

My hair usually gets tangled really easily, but this helped smooth it out without making it feel heavy or greasy. I also noticed my hair looks healthier and shinier, especially on the ends. It has the best texture, does not feel greasy in my hair (which is a big problem for scalp serums). There is a little mint-like tingly sense which I find really soothing. It smells amazing as well!
