The effect doesn't show up right away, but with a regular use it gradually becomes noticeable. My hair started to fall out less and looks healthier overall. I also noticed new hair (baby hair) in area where there was thinning before. The serum smells light and not irritating. It doesn't leave any oil or stickiness. Hair feels clean and fresh after using it. It's worth the price because it works well.

The smell is like a menthol-y fruit,, which has a very nice cooling effect on the scalp.
