I don't notice any improvement on breakage over the past 6 weeks I've been using it, but I do like it as a regular conditioner to prevent my hair feeling dry and brittle.

Drug store brands get a bad rap but this one has made my hair feel so smooth, where it's normally coarse and dry feeling. I like the leave it in while in the shower as long as possible so my hair can drink up all the moisture. I love the scent too! Subtle yet clean.

After using this step and once hair was dry there was complete calming of frizz i think it is very effective.
