The instructions say to really work it into your hair and to leave on for one to three minutes. My hair has been a lot more manageable, and I'm losing less hair when brushing.

You section your hair, drop it along the scalp and massage it in and leave it on. no rinsing. It's lightweight and doesn't leave your hair greasy which I was worried about!
