The consistency isn't too runny or light it's more of a thicker almost lotion type consistency. My hair feels so soft after using along with the shampoo. Doesn't not personally help with dry scalp but everyone is different

I used them twice just go give it a fair shot but it make my scalp feel very itchy. I will say that had that not been the case this would probably be something I could have used. I love the packaging and it's a great value for the entire system. The dropper made getting the product in the fair very easy.
