All you have to do is squeeze out the product along the scalp and then massage it into the scalp. There is a nice cooling sensation. I used it for a little over a month every time I washed my hair. It never left my hair greasy. I have shown a before and after picture. I don't see a big difference as far as new hair growth. I also don't wash my hair daily so maybe it needs more time.
