[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been enjoying using Pantene Abundant Strong Scalp and Root serum because the consistency is lightweight and not sticky at all. It spreads easily on my scalp and absorbs fast, so my roots never feel greasy or heavy.

It has a fantastic non-greasy texture that absorbs in moments and leaves no heavy residue or buildup. The packaging is well-designed, with a convenient dropper that makes it easy to apply to both wet and dry hair. Upon application, the serum feels wonderfully refreshing and soothing on the scalp. For my thin, fine hair, it provided a slight root lift without adding weight, giving a nice boost of volume. After 6 weeks of consistent use, I noticed an improvement in volume, but no significant change in hair growth. Unfortunately, because the formulation contains yellow #5, I will not be repurchasing this serum and cannot recommend it despite its pleasant texture and volumizing effect.

I am over 50 and experiencing some hair thinning The light fragrance as you are washing up, is just right and gives that extra clean feeling. My only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that it did make my hair feel a little weighed down after a few days.
