The product gives a cooling sensation and you can feel it working. I don't notice a ton of growth but do notice less breakage.

It has a thick texture and I think didn't work that well for me because my hair tends to get oily the next day. I loved the smell and how fresh and silky my hair felt.

Now if you have severe damaged ends I will say it won't be a miracle worker but it does a good job otherwise. The smell isn't overpowering pretty mild so if you are looking something with more fragrance this might not be what you're looking for. This I feel does leave a slight build up on the hair shaft but not as bad in comparison to the shampoo. It's extremely hydrating and a great option for drier climates. I will say I feel it's a bit heavy for scalp usage as it takes a long time to rinse residue.

I do have bleached thicker hair but using this for about the last 6 weeks I feel it tamed and helped with my damaged hair. It didn't weigh down my hair or leave a slick texture. It helped with my tangles or knots. I still had some loss but not as much as it usually is. I can't pinpoint the scent but the smell is a coconut type and soft/sweet.
