You can tell the thoughtfulness that went into the design - every feature feels like it was made with the end user in mind - the easy pre-set settings, the intuitive display, a built-in temperature probe for perfect cooking every time, the app, the keep warm feature, the smoke clearing feature, the dishwasher-safe grates, the easy clean-up drip pan and pellet waste bin... everything is extremely user friendly. I don't own an outdoor smoker, but have already smoked two different kinds of meats and they came out tasting excellent. And with the 3 racks, it can hold a surprising amount of meat. I think I just discovered my new favorite kitchen appliance!

[Employee of ge_appliances] I really enjoy smoked meats but am not a fan of smoking and grilling outside. This was the perfect solution. I am still experimenting with cooking techniques. I am glad I purchased this product and look forward to improving my smoking skills.

I've used it 4 times in 3 months and am still getting acquainted with it (Smoke setting). Ribs the first time and a BB roast the second. Both with the supplied wood pellets. Yesterday I went it salmon and a small pork tenderloin with apple. So far everything has been very good. It appears to be very well constructed and once I quit trying to over think things easier to operate. I haven't venture Into connectivity but that will be next. I believe it's a keeper. Bill

[Employee of ge_appliances] I enjoy being able to make grilled/smoked meat inside. I am getting better at gauging how long and what temp to cook my favorite cut of meat. I was afraid the house would smell like smoke. It smells just as if I would have cooked the item in the oven. I have to use the 5-smoke setting as the 3-setting provided little to no smoke flavor.

Capacity is OK, connectivity is good if you have a router nearby. Get an extender if you don't because it's nearly impossible to work without the phone app. The interface is clumsy at best. It does a great job of smoking, however. Biggest problem is that the water bin will not stay closed and if you don't watch it, the smoker will turn itself off until you close the bin. I have to wedge something against it to make it stay. Poor fit and finish.

Great for brisket. Incredibly slow rest.

Easy to customize besides the presets. I wish the whole control panel was lit. I had to use a flashlight to read it because of the contrast.

Very easy to use and set up. Recipes that are included are very good. Clean up takes just a few minutes even after hours of use.

So far so good Its a little tight but will fit a pork shoulder or 2 slabs of rib. Good enough for me. Cleans easy and I don’t really notice smoke smell in the house.
