The backpack feels heavy duty The zippers glide easily, so my preschooler can zip-up herself. The lunch also detached easily enough.

I got this for my toddler who recently started daycare, it’s nice and spacious enough to fit a cribbed sheet blanket and some spare clothes with plenty of space remaining.

Great size for my kindergartener. Love the backpack side pockets for water bottles it fits different size bottles like zak!, owala, and thermos. The lunch bag is also a good size and also has a side pocket. The lunch bag fits the omie lunch box inside perfectly (I tried both the bigger and smaller box).

Great backpack! It is slightly ssmaller than expected but I'm not sure my 3rd grader needs anything more. He doesn’t even carry a laptop or iPad to and from school. His folder and binder fit in there perfectly. The marterials seem very sturdy. Nice padding for the tech pocket. Front material and the carry handle are very robust. the two bottle pockets stretch and fit a vacuum steel water bottle. The attached lunchbox seem very well insulated and is large enough to fit his Ello benni box and maybe even snacks. The luncbix also features a drink pocket on the side for juice boxes etc. Inside there's a zipped pocket for utensils or a cold pack. Quite pleased for the price. I think it just might survive my son this year.

The backpack is really cute. Very good quality for the price. However, this is definitely not 17in. Only buy this backpack if it’s for a preschool child or kindergartener. Too small for 1st grader and up.

Agree with other reviews, backpack is on the smaller side and not for kids past 1st grade. Wish it was bigger. Seems like good material, we’ll see how it lasts this school year.

Much smallwr than expected and very light. PRE-K, K and maybe 1st grade. Attachable lunch bag is nice. Kiddo might need some practice getting it on and off the backpack.

The title description states that these backpacks are 17”. As you can see these are much smaller. If you plan to fit a school map mat in these, they will not fit. Not only are the small in length, but they appear to also be small in width compared to our old backpacks. I purchased backpacks from Sam’s last year and those are larger. I measured them against each other for reference. They do look and feel good quality, however I will be returning these (I purchased the Pokemon and Spider-man ones). Thinking ahead, I don’t think these would fit a winter coat during colder weather either.

SMALL! SUPER small this is perfect for my 3year old and 4 years old but not my 1st grade whos 6years old i thought this would be a good fit but it wasnt had to return it since its to small for him
