Like most food post Covid, it has lowered flavor and overall taste to improve cost. It still taste pretty decent but nowhere near what it used to.

Always adored ruffles, at my age far too salty, great flavor [no I don't use dips]. It would be perfect in a 'multi-pack' with other ruffles flavors.

The taste is good, but it’s pretty expensive for what you get. Though that is likely because I eat a lot.

Sour Cream and Cheddar ruffles are my favorite chip to pair with sandwiches. They are the perfect blend of salt and crunch.
