[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that this razor is pretty good and I like the concept of the base but it’s pretty useless if you don’t leave your razor on the vanity. The actual blades cut pretty well but I found that the moisturizing strip degraded a bit too quickly.

Love the sleek design and this comes with a magnetic stand to place your razor. Gives you a fine shave and I would recommend using this in tandem with Gillette shaving cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using many brands of razors and some of Gillette razors are my favourite like the Mach 3, for years have been using Mach 3 which is still razor and really give a great fine shave, now with trying this one actually feel good. The same sharpness and clean shave with more flexibility, the exfoliating bar is good however wears out fast good for a 2 shave, however the feel of the shave with GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor is different gives a clean smooth and exfoliating feeling. Definitely one good addition to my Collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a manual razor, look no further, this does a wonderful job! Sharp blades that contours to your skin to cleanly take off what even electric razors can’t. Very comfortable handle, which may become a littler slippery if you are using in a wet environment like the shower. A good tip would be to make sure you use a decent shaving cream too as that will play a huge factor in how smooth it is when shaving. Overall a great value for what you are getting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I don't know why they would try to advertise this razor as being able to shave your face "as quick and easy as washing your face" It's obviously nowhere near as easy, or as quick as washing your face. That would be impossible. It's just a normal razor, and it takes exactly the same amount of time and effort, as shaving your face with any other razor. Furthermore, the "magnetic stand" isn't magnetic at all, and the hole isn't deep enough to house the razor handle, so the razor just falls out of the stand.

I like the feel of the razor in my hand, and the stand is nice but that’s about it. I don’t find the blades on this to be very sharp, or either the exfoliating bar causes an issue. I’m not sure. The shave isn’t very close and I find myself having to go over the same areas many times. It misses a lot of hair. My face didn’t really feel any smoother, I couldn’t tell any difference than using a regular razor. Unfortunately, after a couple uses I went back to my other razor. For that, I can’t really recommend it to anyone. Not to say that it might work great for someone else.

Having the head of the razor articulate might sound trivial, but it elevates the shaving experience and works great. Gillette products hold up well as long as you can find the replacement heads. Overall, well done. Looking forward to continued use.
