The handle has a nice weight to it and has a nice grip. The pivoting head isn't loose or floppy and helps confirm to your face. Overall a great razor to use.

Gillette has done it though! The blades are extremely sharp, ensuring I don’t have to make more than a single pass to get every hair. The handle also has a flexdisc that helps the razor hug my face even around my jawline, mouth and chin. I believe the exfoliating bar is the real secret — it helps remove dirt and oil build up that would normally get in the way. The razor is extremely stylish and stands up perfectly on the counter using its magnetic stand. I love everything about this razor!

I like the look of it, and it is complemented by some rubber for grip. The metal handle also gives me a sense of durability. There is a stand for the razor included in the box which is a nice touch. I had never used a razor stand, and now I am a fan because it makes the razor accessible and helps keep it clean and dry. My only complaint is that dry water spots are regularly visible on the stand and sometimes the razor handle, detracting from the nice design. One of my review photos shows this. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the Gillette Labs razor with exfoliating bar recently. Every razor I have used before only pivoted in one direction. This razor pivots forward and backwards, but also rotates to give flexibility from side to side. There is no part of my face that this razor cannot adjust to. Pair that with the exfoliating bar and this Gillette razor has given me my best shave ever.
