The packaging was great and the inclusion of a stand was much appreciated and looks great. It is always helpful when there is a stand so it does not get misplaced between uses. I experienced no tugging or pulling of the hair on my face due to the sharpness of the blade. The handle is well made and feels nice to grip. I feel like the exfoliating bar was a nice touch that gave a slight performance edge when compared to other ones.

The 5 blades take the close shave another step up. This is the cleanest shave I have had the pleasure of experiencing and doesn’t cut my face. The adjusting swivel style head design helps get into facial grooves easier and the magnetic stand helps keeps the blades from getting dull on the shelf, counter, or drawer. The shave is noticeably closer and smoother than any other razor I have ever used. The build quality is also excellent and the product even comes with a stand for the razor so that the blades don't dull when put into a drawer. The razor gives a clean shave every time. Has a metal handle which is easy to keep a grip on and a magnetic stand that will assure the blades dry faster and better than just laying the razor down flat. I would recommend the Gillette labs with exfoliating bar to any one wanting a very close and comfortable shave.

This product provides a comfortable shave for sensitive skin and tough beard. This razor is hands down the BEST!!! I have coarse hair on my face and this razor gave me the closest shave. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the solid weight and feel of the handle itself. Not heavy, but a good solid weight and balance. Really like the magnetic base, although you do have to get it set in right. Stays clean and ready to use. I typically use the Mach 5 blades. This one felt a little rough to start with the exfoliating bar, but I’m used to all blade. So I’ve come to like the exfoliating bar, seems to keep the blade grounded and engaged for a clean pass. I’d buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice razor - what you can expect from Gillette razors. It does a great job shaving and cleaning up my face. This razor breezes through the challenging areas, like the neck, with minimal issues. The trimming blade on the flip side is a nice feature to touch up areas. Surprisingly, there is still some tug, despite the razor having 5 blades. Even after showering, I find that the razor still tries to pull some of the hair out vs cutting it nicely. My biggest complaint is that the release button (the big circle) is right where my finger tends to rest, which basically means anytime I apply pressure to the razor during the shave, the blade releases. A slight annoyance and in my opinion, a slight design flaw. I do not notice the exfoliating bar much - generally speaking - I use shaving cream which provides a pretty good buffer between the blades my face - the exfoliating bar serves little purpose. Overall, a nice razor - but nothing special.
