This current model added the contour design. The previous design was just a solid piece and not contoured. It was the same material and no matter who used the cushion, it would contour to your body. This model can be very uncomfortable with the hard center piece. I sit at work 8 hours a day and use the older version as it is more comfortable than the newer model.

This is my second set of seat and back cushions. The first set my husband has had for years and it was finally time for a new set. I looked at what else was out there since my first order but didn't find anything to compare with the comfort and quality.

I use both the seat cushion and lumbar cushion. They are excellent. I need lumbar fusion surgery within the next few months. These cushions help a great deal. I use them at home and work. They seem to align things and make me more pain free. I was skeptical but had so much pain and discomfort, I was ready to try anything. These both worked and I am quite pleased.

I got this originally for my husband. But since I enjoyed it so much, I decided to keep this for myself. I worked in front of my computer a lot every day. My back and my bottom used to hurt after a while. Not any more since I started to use this cushion. Gee, it is wonderful that I don't need to worry about my back pain because of sitting for too long. Absolutely love it and recommend it. Will get another one for my husband~~~

I am 5'7'' and still find this cushion too small. It is significant smaller than the seating surface of any normal office chair. In my opinion, the only type of chairs it would perfectly fit is the simple wood dinning chairs you would find in Ikea. I believe most people bought this cushion for their work rather than dinners. A larger version would be popular as well.

This cushion is extremely comfortable! I have one in my office chair, one at home, and one for my elderly mother, who takes it everywhere! However, I am terribly disappointed that the current version of this cushion no longer has a carry handle or a grey vinyl backside (for writing the owner's name & phone number in case it is misplaced.) I highly recommend it for comfort.

It seems from reading the reviews that me being 72" tall and 210 pounds my rear end would be large for this cushion? I am not over weight but I think what people are saying that the cushion would be a better item if it was 20" or so??? I'll wait for an updated size or go buy another type pad(:(:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased the seat cushions I read the reviews, I noticed a lot of them say that it's not for people with big bottoms, they were right. And the lumbar support cushion hurts my back, I tried for 2 weeks and nothing just makes my back hurt. But you get 5 stars because my husband is skinny and he says his back feels better already.‍♀️

I bought mine from a local home care store and love it. I go to all-day Bluegrass Festivals and by the end of day my back would be soooo uncomfortable. I'd shift this way and that trying to get relief. My first time at one of these festivals was a world of difference with this cushion. I left happy from hours of wonderful music and feeling so refreshed. It was everything I wanted. I've recommended to friends ever since. Thanks for a great product!!!

The seat cushion cover failed. No big problem. Then I tried to figure out how to obtain a new or replacement cover. HO HO HO. That was a huge waste of time and effort Customer Service from Tempurpedic, in this instance is an oxymoron. Neither the web site nor the AI chat bot was able to assist me; I sent a 'contact' e-mail, but I anticipate another waste of time.
