The Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing was a game changer for my daughter. Prior to testing this swing she would not stay in another. A huge benefit was the fact that she could either be lying down flat or inclined at a safe angle. I have to say though the style of the swing fit the design of my home. The plastic wood finish gave it a sleek design and the softness of the materials and straps made it all the more comfortable for my daughter. I really enjoyed the fact that you could also have it 360 degrees instead of just a front facing while having to turn the whole swing around;this was a very neat feature. Navigating the functions of the swing was very straightforward too! My daughter enjoyed the spread on the 2nd to lowest setting with the natural sounds because it allowed her to focus on her surroundings while also hearing calming music, this soothed her and allowed her to get comfortable enough to nap. Overall this swing was good to the point my daughter enjoys being in it more than my arms! I loved the versatility of the features and the flexibility of how to position the swing. Definitely recommending to my mom friends!

The frame is made of a wood grain styled metal with eco friendly fabrics. The fabric pieces zip on and off for cleaning which is so convenient. I also love the soft color scheme that looks great in my house! The swing itself is intuitive to assemble and simple to navigate the music and speeds using the physical buttons on the swing’s base. In my house we’re obsessed with the second song. My son loves it and I find it calming as well. The movement of the swing is natural, so I feel confident as a mom knowing he’s in safe and loving arms while he’s being rocked to sleep by the Cassia Swing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Max Cosi Cassia swing is one of the most aesthetically pleasing baby products that I own! The neutral grey tones and wooden accent color are a great touch to any room. This swing is also extremely light weight and portable! It is very convenient to bring to the kitchen to keep an eye on my little one while I cook. Not to mention it can also be battery operated too!! I have also brought this swing to Mimi’s house and the ease of transport was greatly appreciated. This swing has 5 speeds and a 360 function allowing it to rock side to side or front to back. My baby girl loves the front to back function! She also loves the recline function. The buttons on the side allow baby to sit in an upward position or recline. The recline function is great for a nice nap. There are several sound options from nature to classical tunes. Very relaxing music along with the smooth natural swaying of this swing. I feel safe leaving my baby in this swing. Unfortunately the quality of the buckle is poorly made and the buckle part on my swing broke the second time harnessing my baby in. One of the clips snapped off (see picture). That being said, thankfully it still buckles! We have used many times and I have not had an issue with the buckle not clasping or harness coming undone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m on my third baby so I’ve used plenty of swings in the past, and this one by far is the best yet! I, and apparently my baby, really loved the features and settings the swings had to offer. First of all, putting it together was straightforward and easy. The design is very classy and has an upscale look to it, and I appreciated that it matched my current household aesthetic. There is wood like trim around the edges and the dark and light grays were nice together with the wood. Once put together, I put down my fussy baby into the seat and tested out the automatic swing feature on level 2. She is only a few weeks old so I wanted to try a slower speed and she seemed to enjoy that. She didn’t care much for the music so I turned that off. Maybe something she will like as she gets older. I got a solid 30-40 minutes of time before she wanted out, which is amazing being she cries immediately putting her down anywhere else. Installing her in the seat was also straightforward, however the straps were a little difficult to adjust. Not enough to warrant a star off, but definitely had to fidget around with them. My overall impression of the swing is that it is a stylish and quality item that will definitely come in handy over the next few months. Also that lays back for my neighbor and isn’t bulky but she can still grow into it. I don’t like items that can only used for a short time. This I can easily use probably for 9 months. It’s super lightweight so you can move it around without a hassle. My baby really likes the lay back feature, and she still gets the motion. It’s really pretty so if esthetics matters this is the one. I work from home so this let’s put it near my desk put the sound machine on and get to work. I already owned a swing so I planned for this to be a spare one that we take over to grandparents place when we go. Spoiler alert, we loved it so much this swing has become our main one! Here are some things to know: 1. First, we love the sleek design. It looks so good in our modern home. 2. We also love the fact it sits pretty high for a swing, so that my baby can sit in it without my dog being all over him. This is a big plus for us. 3. In addition, we love the motion the swing has. It’s smoother than our other one (also from a big reputable brand) and I feel like my baby enjoys it more. 4. Another great feature is the fact it can be battery operated. Game changer if you want to move it around or put it in the middle of a room and not against a wall with an outlet. 5. We also really like the 5 point harness in this one, vs the 3 point harness of the previous one. It just feels more secure. 6. Another difference between the two swings that made us fall in love with this one is the fact that it rotates 360 degrees. It makes it so much easier for when we’re sitting in the living room and need to adjust the position. With the previous one, we had to pick it all up to move… 7. The music feature is also nice, but similar to other swings we’ve seen. 8. My only complaint about the swing, and it’s really not a big deal, but the little toy mobile that’s connected to it is too high and the arm is too short, so my baby can’t really see or touch the animals. It’s not a big deal because the swinging motion keeps him entertained anymore, but I do wish it was better placed because right now the whole thing is just redundant. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a swing that is actually soothing, easy to set up and move around and is aesthetically pleasing!
