[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yet another random review that I never thought I’d do but here we are! Pepsi prebiotic cherry vanilla cola. That’s a mouthful, get it? Moving forward… I’ve had some of the Pepsi products before and I’ve always been a fan so this might seem biased but hear me out. This doesn’t taste bad, it’s quite good for what it is. I was a little skeptical if I’m being honest because most prebiotic and probiotic drinks are not similar to sodas. But they made it work! Sure it looks like your average Pepsi, still represents the company very well, but on the inside is where things get interesting. This soda only has about 5 grams of sugars. 5 grams. Normally any regular soda would have something around 30-60 grams per can. And for this to only have 5 and still taste like normal cherry vanilla cola is crazy! You’re still drinking soda, you get the sparkling feeling, the carbonation, the full vanilla flavor with a touch of cherry (if I’m honest I’d prefer more cherry), and without anyone noticing you’re also getting some great prebiotic fiber from corn fiber, which happens to be an excellent source. The after taste could be a little medicinal in my opinion but my wife says it’s more like a vanilla taste. But honestly, even though I’m not a big soda drinker, I’d most likely look for this Pepsi if I’d ever want to buy a pop. Give it a try, I’m sure you’d be as surprised as I was.

I'm not a habitual soda drinker but I can definitely taste a difference in the original Pepsi compared to this one. It had a bit of an aftertaste that I was not a big fan of. My brother-in-law also tried the taste and said that it tasted like it had some different formulation. He also said that it tasted like it had some kind of sugar aftertaste but he could not put his finger on it. After I tried it myself. I would say that it definitely tasted like a great alternative for soda drinkers who are trying to get the benefits of drinking a prebiotic in their soda and get the benefit. Overall, I would suggest this for those people who are trying to make better decisions in their daily eating habits and improve their probiotic health or gut biome.

The taste was a little different than a regular Pepsi tastes like for sure and it has a somewhat extra sweet taste to it. It feels like you are drinking a regular Pepsi but you can still taste the stevia aftertaste. It has less sugar than a traditional can of Pepsi so if you are looking to have less sugar and are not a fan of Diet Pepsi this would be the drink for you!
