Honestly, we started buying these because we were spending a decent amount on Poppi trying to avoid a lot of the artificial ingredients that come with most sodas. When Pepsi launched their own prebiotic version with more natural flavors and ingredients, we ended up gravitating toward these instead. if you’re expecting it to taste exactly like a normal Cherry Pepsi, it doesn’t. But it’s still really good in its own way, especially once you stop comparing it to regular soda. The price also feels pretty fair considering it avoids a bunch of artificial fillers and ingredients. We keep these stocked in our house pretty regularly now for when we want something carbonated without feeling like we’re drinking straight junk.

Love the added cherry flavor!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the cherry prebiotic flavor as I didn't care for the regular prebiotic cola flavor as much, but I was surprised at how much I actually really like this. Sometimes, adding an extra flavor really makes a huge difference in taste. It's disappointing that there's still added sugar in it, but this is definitely a healthier option for cherry cola.

Ive been drinking stevia sweetened sodas for years so this tastes fine to me. Having a small amount of sugar in it definitely helps reduce the stevia aftertaste. This reminds me of Pepsi Light, a half sugar and half saccharine sweetened Pepsi with a lemon flavor added. It was available for a few years in the 70s.

Pepsi that's good for me?

I have avoided sugary sodas for years because of diabetes concerns. I cannot drink High Fructose Corn Syrup because it gives me IBS. But I grew up drinking pure-cane Pepsi and I miss it. Pepsi Prebiotic Cola tastes very close to pure-cane sugar soda. It has no HFCS. And it claims to be good for me. Now, this may be a "Lucky Charms" moment where the candies in my cereal make me think I'm getting nutrition while eating sweets, but at last I found a cola that I can enjoy. Sadly you're only supposed to drink one a day - and they. cost about $1.00 a can (about 4-6 times HFCS Pepsi)... but the illusion is real ;)

I considered giving this a negative rating because I don't want to have it sell out. however, the truth is that this wonderful... I had been looking for prebiotics but couldn't find any to fit my budget. then I saw this product at Walmart on line and decided to take a chance. who knew Pepsi could be healthy. this has no sugar and everything to keep your cut healthy. there is no strange aftertaste from the lack of sugar. the soda itself has mild carbonation and a very light taste. in fact, the first I received this (same day Walmart ) I drank 4 within a 4 hr time frame, something which, had I read the instructions that state one per day, would have prevented my frequent visits to the bathroom. now that I am following instructions, things have improved. my Dr is impressed because my lab work shows improvement in my gut.

Best "healthy" cola out there; Great value

Pepsi deserves major kudos for coming up with this stuff. This might be the first actual, successful attempt at creating a "diet" soda that doesn't come with major taste issues that cause you to throw the stuff out after a few tries. I accidentally stumbled upon this Pepsi Prebiotic Cola and I am glad I did. As someone that has a bit of a cola kick especially at days in the office, I was looking for something that wasn't filled with sugar and calories. This fits the bill perfectly. It has 7 times less sugar than ordinary colas and about 5 times less calories. It feels just like a Pepsi or other typical cola in terms of texture, carbonation, refreshing-ness, and how it goes down. Taste wise, I'd say it is kind of like a "lite" Pepsi. You can tell the taste is there, but it is obviously not as strong as a typical Pepsi would be. I would say it is also milder than Diet Pepsi. However, I think it would still be more than satisfying to anyone who does not absolutely need the full sweetness of a typical cola. The taste-to-health ratio here is substantially better than any ordinary cola or the typical diet alternatives. Also, I haven't tried mixing it with, say, Bacardi, but from the taste I think it would blend very well. Further, price wise it is a substantially better value proposition than what you'd get from the typical healthy soda brands (which I often find way overpriced). I REALLY hope Pepsi keeps making this stuff.

pretty good and don't get why it has bad ratings

This being prebiotic tastes pretty good and I like it better than the well known pre or probiotic sodas. With the other brands, the sweetener is very overpowering and tastes too strong for me. with this the sweetener is not very strong. not saying you don't taste it, it isn't as bad as ollipop or poppi. I really like this, taste really good and I can taste the cherry, vanilla and lots of the iconic Pepsi flavor. reminds me of diet Pepsi, it's so good and I hope that Pepsi keeps this since we don't get Pepsi plus here. it's also lower in calories, but if you do have a bad stomach this will make you go to the bathroom. hasn't happened to me but I do have a family member who doesn't have a gallbladder and has stomach issues too and this did make them go. don't drink too many of these, be cautious when drinking this on a weak stomach and drink at least one a day.

Finally a soda for the 80s kids!

Finally! A healthier soda, it tastes like soda! Not ginger, not lavender, soda! So good! Fiber is making a difference too! Big girl Pepsi for the little girl who had a metabolism years ago! Thank you Pepsi! And thank you WalMart for the great price!
